The main premise of this book is if God is all knowing, then the only thing God might not know is what would life be like without him so God kills himself/herself, creating the Big Bang (and ultimately the universe). Adam's poses the theory that the purpose of life is to create communication systems like radio, television the internet etc... in pursuit of a universal omniscience which would ultimately bring about God's rebirth. He poses the idea that the universe and everything in it are just the remanence of God's initial self-destruction making us all God's Debris.
